    Thank you for the comments

    Recently (20 September) I was in Plano and with the help of many other was awarding presenting our Section Youth Coordinator

    several awards, one of which is The Hiram Percy Maxim Memorial Award, also known as the Youth award because it is only available to those Hams that are under 21 years of age.

    Fact is there are many awards available to members from the ARRL
    for Old and New hams alike.
