At my behest Johnny Thomas is going to do a presentation on HF antennas, we just need to confirm the meeting when he will do it. Do you think that antenna analyzer could be presented somehow in 20, max 30, minutes? As you know, we are soliciting someone to start lining programs up, to me those two are a good start. Since there has not been a rush to volunteer, 60 people have read the email in the nearly 24 hours since it was sent, but not a single person has raised their hand yet; maybe this forum post is a good way to get the ball rolling in the meantime. Thanks for starting it!
Someone recently mentioned GMRS, something I do not recall having previously been discussed at a RRVARC meeting, might be another briefing topic. GMRS, their associated repeaters and how we might use that discussion to recruit new hams. I am thinking of doing a quick poll to see if the membership might think that was cool.
