Quick update on the old 2024 Sweepstakes thread
It’s been a while since this topic was active (November 2024), so I figured I’d bring it back to life.
For those of you who jumped in last year (or any previous year):
- Did you have fun?
- How many sections did you work?
- Any Clean Sweep stories (or near-misses)?
- What band or time of day worked best for you from this area?
- Any “firsts” or funny exchange moments worth sharing?
I’d love to hear how it went for the club members who participated.
Looking ahead to this fall, ARRL November Sweepstakes is on the calendar again:
- CW: November 7–9, 2026 (2100Z Saturday – 0259Z Monday)
- Phone: November 21–23, 2026 (same times)
Same classic exchange (serial + precedence + call + check + section), same goal of working as many of the 85 ARRL/RAC sections as possible.
Is anyone already thinking about getting on for one or both weekends this year? Thinking of a multi-op effort, single-op from home, or just casually handing out a few contacts?
