    All,

This morning I goofed replying to and misidentifying someone in another forum post thread.  It motivated me to fix an annoyance of our forums that probably only bothered me, but it did bother me.  😂🤣  On posts my name and call sign were there, but not as I wanted them placed.  And others would post and it would only display their call sign.  I am talking about the little block to the left of these posts.  So, today I figured out how to make them all match and line up as I wanted them to.  First name, last name (call sign).  It is a small thing but it had bugged me for quite awhile.  I am going to start tweaking it further with the following:

    • Officer badges
    • Sponsor badges
    • New Member ribbon
    • Try and implement a badge that recognizes people for making 50, 100, etc., forum posts.
    • QRZ links
    • Better mobile formatting

I have been hard at it for two hours to fix the first thing so I am going to move on to something else for today, but I’ll peck away at that list and continue to try and improve the forums incrementally.

I used to get people saying to me that nobody used (or read) our forums.  For a fact you can see that is simply not accurate.  If a thread gets more than 10 views Mike Spracklen (K5ILO) implemented a process that starts automatically listing the view count.  As of a moment ago our big Meshtastic thread has 387 views.  The site itself has had 25,800 views in the last 30 days.  I’m excited to share those details with you.  😎
