    All,

Earlier this year the Texas Legislature passed a bill and Governor Abbott signed it into law, allowing for Ivermectin to be sold over the counter.  Knowing things are never as simple as all that I waited to make a forum post with specifics.  Now this Texas Scorecard piece – New Law Allowing Pharmacists To Dispense Ivermectin Without Prescription Takes Effect (December 5, 2025) – came out and it does a nice job of covering the points.  One worry that I had was that the law says pharmacists MAY, not SHALL, dispense it.  The article covers that and goes further, saying “Texans for Vaccine Choice has begun collecting the names of pharmacies willing to dispense ivermectin without a prescription.  The form can be found here.”  Well, read that carefully, the link is not to a list, it is to Twitter/X post by Mary Talley Bowden, MD, who was involved with the legislation.  There they provide the link to a Google Docs form they are asking people to fill out when they do try to buy it, asking for details about the pharmacy.  They ask for a lot of your information too, so I figure some will be reticent to participate, but I am expecting a list to be available at some point.  In fact, this link takes you to a search result for “ivermectin” on the Texans for Vaccine Choice website.  Hopefully if we keep checking that page there will be a list provided soon.  And if you try to buy it please make a forum post reply here and let us know your experience, positive or negative.  Much thanks!
