Does it need to be a separate FB page or can a stickied notice on current page work?

Chris I have my antenna, stand with instructions on setting it up.  If you wanna get it before hand let me know.  If not I can bring to club meeting. Not sure I have the bandwidth to stay at the Pavillion or not.  Its pretty simple to use if you follow the directions.

I don’t know about the sticky for field day points. I would, definitely, like to know if it would get some use before starting a new page though.

Hey folks, there are some changes this year to the ARRL Field Day rules, procedures and information. Some affect the logging software.

We use the N3FJP logging software. You MUST upgrade to the latest version for this year. If you are using your own computer you can download and install the software before Field Day or I will have it on a thumb drive at Field Day.

This is from the N3FJP email blast:

A few reminders for next weekend’s Field Day event:

Upgrade to Field Day Log 6.6.7 Required!

ARRL Field Day is just 7 days away! If you haven’t started to prepare, now is the time! First, please be sure to upgrade to version 6.6.7 of our ARRL Field Day software in advance, so that you can log the new Canadian section abbreviations and apply the latest rule changes. This is a required upgrade. There are several Canadian section abbreviation changes effective January 1, 2023 and you won’t be able to log these abbreviations unless you upgrade.

Please make sure everyone at your Field Day site is running version 6.6.7! Please check with your buddies and club members now, to make sure they are aware of the needed upgrade! We don’t want anyone disappointed next weekend, or any Field Day sites thrown into confusion when an operator attempts to log a changed Canadian section abbreviation with an old version of our software.

As always, upgrades are free to registered users. If you are currently running a version of our software released after January 2021 and are Internet connected, it should detect the new upgrade and offer to retrieve it for you on start.

If you have any problem with the automatic upgrade, or you are running an older version, you can install the latest version directly from the web site:

              I’ve good news….and bad news.

              Good news – I think I’m ready.

Bad news – I can’t make the sound card in the laptop work properly, so no digital for me.

I just wanted to remind everyone that is coming out to Field Day tomorrow and Sunday to bring what you need. If you need a chair bring a chair. If you need something to drink bring something to drink and so forth and so on.  With Phillip not being able to come do not count on anyone else having extra chairs and something extra to drink. Some of those items Charles and I would would normally bring extra of but with us bringing 2 generators and our canopy we hardly had room to bring what we need. Also remember that no one knows exactly what you need but yourself.

Yes. I will try to have a few things if needed, but I would not count on me. I will have a few extra chairs, but not enough for everyone.

And, if the bands are dead, I’ll have cornhole.

I tried to send 4 of our chairs with the boys who picked up our scissor lift.  We did send two coolers with bottled water left over from the anniversary party – STAY COOL!  Will miss y’all this year!!
