I am working on trying to get the software to network on a few computers here at home now. Hopefully we will be networked out there and the WiFi I will provide will reach all stations.

The software for logging is updated and working and I believe I got the networking working. I will have a copy of the software with me on a thumb drive and will help you set up your Windows PC for networking the logging program.
We will be connecting via wifi and last year it had the needed coverage range to connect us together.
As we will all be in fairly close proximity it is not a very good idea for any of us to be operating on the same band at the same time. I will bring the band filters and we should use them as they have eliminated all cross-band interference at our Field Day operations.
Please let me know if there is anything I might bring for you.
Good deal on the networking. I will have N3FJP, if I need something else please let me know. I am having trouble getting the laptop and 991a to act right on the digital side of things. Hopefully I get that worked out by Saturday, but if not we’ll just go with ssb.
I can’t think of anything I’ll need. I always appreciate you letting us use the bandpass filters.
On another note, I’ve lost a dipole. Who does that? It’s the one I use for portable operations. No clue where it is. I have other stuff that’s going to work, but seriously, who just misplaces an antenna. Anyway, the fridge has food and I am looking forward to the weekend. Should be a good time.

Following the Club meeting yesterday (Saturday, January 27), I went to Cooper Lake State Park and met Charles (WA5VHU) and Cindy (KD5CCB) Penry, Mark Johnson (W5PTX) and Cliff Leath (KI5OPP). I spent a few hours with them, departing just before dark. I have to tell you – I had a blast and I think that Kathy and I will be taking our RV and meeting the group do to it next January.
While I was there contacts were made with HI, OH, FL, NJ and many other states. Multiple contacts in some of those states. Oh, and Ontario. Anyway, it was great. Unlike the scorching heat of the Summer Field Day, this was very pleasant. Here are a few pictures:
If you haven’t considered Winter Field Day before, let me encourage you to consider it for next January. Mark it on your calendar now – Saturday, January 25, 2025.
