Looking a little farther down the calendar, the Atlanta Ham Expo is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Atlanta, Texas.

Sponsored by the Freedom Link Group and the Radio Amateurs of Cass County, the Expo should provide another nearby opportunity to get together with fellow amateur radio operators, browse equipment, and support amateur radio throughout our region.

I have searched online but have been unable to locate any kind of graphic, flyer, poster, or other promotional material for the event. If anyone comes across one, or receives one from the organizers, please send it to me so I can add it to this post.

In the meantime, I wanted to get the date in front of everyone so that interested members can place it on their calendars. I will update this post as additional information becomes available.

Once again, thanks go to fellow RRVARC member Ronnie Rumsey (KA5LEK) for cluing us in on another regional amateur radio event. Ronnie belongs to several clubs and does a great job of helping keep us connected with amateur radio activities beyond our immediate area.

We appreciate you keeping RRVARC in the loop, Ronnie, and we are very glad you are back home and recovering.
