I spotted this last month and intended to post it…and it fell through the cracks.  Bogata Police Department’s K9 Heretic to get donation of body armor was posted on the MyParisTexas.com website.  From the story “K9 Heretic’s vest was sponsored by Cheryl Hopper of Hebron, IN and will be embroidered with the sentiment “In memory of Arthur L Zimmerman”.”  Taco Delite and Mattress Factory Outlet of Paris have previously donated helmets and body armor to area law enforcement.  Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. has this terrific program for matching donors with K9’s needing a vest.  I thought the article and concept were great, and hoped you would like to know about it too.
