      All,

Early notice – The Fannin County ARC will be doing communication support for the Autumn in Bonham bike rally.  RRVARC officers have encouraged some cross-pollination of the two clubs so that if either needs help we have standing relationships ready to help each other.  Their rally is Saturday, October 4, 2025, in Bonham, Texas, starting at 8:00 AM.  They are trying to have two-person teams at each stop.  I am going and I know of at least two other members of our Club who are going.  The primary point of contact with the FCARC is Duncan Berry (KG5NDO).  He can be emailed at this link.  If you will, please add me or Mark Johnson (W5PTX) to your email, we may be able to coordinate car pooling or other details related to the rally.  If you want Duncan’s phone number please call, text or email me for it as I do not want to post it to a public facing forum post.  We would love to have enough people sign up that we had more than needed, so please give it some thought.

All, FCARC is working to have a “Practice Run Day” to insure all goes well.  I will update once I know when.  Thanks for your help.

          All,

The monthly Club meeting is this coming Saturday, September 27.  The following Saturday, October 4, is the Autumn in Bonham (AIB) bike rally.  Duncan Berry (KG5ND0), with the Fannin County ARC, is the lead on the event.  You can email him by clicking his name and if you want his cell number please email or call me.

If you have already signed up, great.  If not, please do.  This is the second year in a row that RRVARC and FCARC have helped each other out with our respective bike rallies.  Honestly, we would not have covered all of our spots without their help and I for one want to see the collaboration continued.  To that end I have some of their support documents (PDF format) and route maps linked below.

I look forward to doing the rally and maybe seeing or talking to you from my rest stop.
