I and the kids went to visit my parents one day. Walking into the house, I smelt incomplete combustion. I had smelt it before and you will never forget it. My folks and the kids smelt nothing. I went down to the basement where the furnace was located and found the flue had fell apart. I turned off the furnace and went to the local hardware store for new flue pipe and replaced it.
