    All,

Surprisingly to me there is precious little in the way of news on the topic, but Harbor Freight Tools is rumored to open their new Paris store next week, on December 6th!

This could change as the date has slipped a number of times.   Previously this piece was published – CONFIRMED: Harbor Freight is coming to Paris, tentatively expected to open ‘sometime this summer’ – indicating a summer 2022 opening.  Local construction subcontractors told me that materials shortages slowed the build.  Little else has been published until this Paris News piece Harbor Freight Tools expected to open new location as early as December 2022.  I have done some digging and there is nothing more that I can find.  If you have any additional detail, please update all of us here or drop me an email and I will update the post.

Harbor Freight is growing fast and is quite public reference the benefits of employment with them.  Lots more info on that topic is available in this article – Harbor Freight expected opening planned for Dec. 2022 || How to apply for positions.  I found this point from the article very interesting – Harbor Freight is opening two new stores a week!  Wow!

Of note, our own Club member Vicki Ross (KG5YWO) is one of the first hires to staff up the new Paris store.  Please congratulate Vicki when you see her!

    All,

OK, the headline threw me for a moment, the store ALREADY opened as we had said rumor indicated that it would (December 6th), but it looks like their Grand Opening will be on Christmas Eve – Saturday, December 24th. From a news alert from the MyParisTexas.com website GRAND OPENING: Harbor Freight Tools To Open New Store In Paris On Dec. 24.

Again, our own Club member Vicki Ross (KG5YWO) is one of the first people hired to get the store opened up! Please look for her and congratulate Vicki when you see her!
