This is both an update and a test. I spent some time working on the slow forum post processing, double-posting and resultant double email notification for some time earlier today and then I let the real pro take over – Thank you to Club member Mike Spracklen (KJ5ILO). Mike took my notes and then went and made some pretty substantive settings changes. Hopefully the result for you will be the same as our test: Super-fast post processing and no more doubling. I could pass some more detail along, but I’m sure 99.9% just care that things are working. Hopefully!
If you notice any quirks about the site in general, the forums or emails, please let me know. I didn’t realize the forum posts were doubling until last night, but Jerry Keisler (WA5KZA) tells me it has been happening for some weeks.
In a volunteer operation I won’t ever pledge perfection, but I will pledge effort and persistence. Kudo’s to Mike and I encourage all of you to please continue your participation with the Club and with our website and forums.
