[Mark Johnson (W5PTX)]

I had a lot of fun at the Mena Hamfest today. I didn’t pick up any new gear, but I did find a couple of old books, that should have some good project ideas, to add to my ongoing collection. I did get to add 1 more state, Arkansas, to my activations. I’m to 3! Yay. One of these days, I’m going to take a POTA trip and add a few more…I hope. I only ran FT8 today (ran out of time to do SSB, and had a pile up for 45 minutes) on 20 meters. Here’s a map of some the contacts.

Let me know if your intrested in doing a POTA trip sometime. I bet we can get something put together.
