A relative sent me this review and I thought “Hey, that’s pretty cool. Let’s post it to the Club website!” Kathy and I have been trying local places recently and we have not been to 107 yet. This guy did and he dug it, so enjoy his review. And if you find a review on other local spots, either post them here or ask me for assistance. To get the video into the little box took me several tries, but I really wanted that look. I’ll help your post to look polished too if you would like the help. Anyway, here’s our first post reviewing a local establishment. Enjoy!

Local Food Find: 107 in Paris, TX – Fried Okra Tacos & Green Tomato BLT
If you’re in the Paris area or passing through downtown, check out 107 (107 Grand Ave). It’s a solid spot with a beer garden vibe, burgers, tacos, and more.
A recent reviewer really enjoyed their fried green tomato BLT (with spicy mayo) and especially the fried okra taco (okra, tomatoes, bacon, green onions, and their sweet dressing in a corn tortilla). He said both were excellent and highly recommended the okra tacos for anyone who likes fried okra.
Looks like a good local option worth trying. Has anyone else been there lately?

107 is a fantastic place. One of my favorites. The best place in town for Fish & Chips (get the lunch portion, unless you’re super hungry, the dinner comes with 3 large pieces of fish). The pulled pork sliders are also a top choice. Get the fried pickles for an appetizer. They’re spears not slices, it’s greatness. Or, you can go lighter with fruit, meat, and cheese slab. They also have at least 10 different beers on tap, and many more in bottles. Along with a selection of wines. They have a fairly large menu, and it’s all good. Michelle absolutely loves they’re garlic fries. But beware, you must love garlic. Lots of it. I just get the regular fries.
We should all make a plan to meet up for lunch one day.
