    All,

The Red River Valley Amateur Radio Club 2022 Christmas party is a wrap!  We had twenty-two people in attendance.  Jim (WA5QEC) and Susie Clark were unable to attend because Jim was running a fever.  Noting his absence, everyone otherwise had a great time.

Vicki Ross (KG5YWO) played a Christmas carol for the group on her ocarina. We missed recording her saying that it was her Christmas gift to the Club, but if you would like to see the video of her great job playing the carol, please click this link.  (You may get a nag from Dropbox – You DO NOT have to download their app.  Just click continue to the website.  If you are using an Apple device and either this link or the one below for ther other pictures appears to not offer that choice, click the “OK” on the black cookie notice bar at the bottom and when it goes away you will then be presented the option “Or continue to the website.”  Sorry, the pictures and video are so large that for now it was the simplest way to get them hosted up quickly. – Phillip)

The unofficial winner of the ugliest sweater contest goes to Cindy Penry (KD5CCB):

We also had a guest – James “Jim” Hunt (KI5DQ), the tower climber who got our Atlas repeater antennas installed and operational.  Jim is also the VP of the Fannin County Amateur Radio Club (FCARC).

If you want to see some more pictures from the party please click this link.  If you have pictures from the party please send them to me and I will get them posted right up.

To those that made our Christmas party a success, thank you for coming.  For those of you that missed it, we hope you will join us next year!

    Merry Christmas,

    Phillip
