Red River Valley Amateur Radio Club
Amateur Radio in and around the Red River Valley Area of Northeast Texas
Does anyone have a list of macros they like to use for rtty, psk31, or cw? I’m trying to get my digital stuff sorted out, and would love any suggestions. 73
My brain hurts. Or maybe it’s just tired?
I have spent part of a few evenings doing what I thought would be a simple task, that being getting RTTY and maybe some other digital modes working that are approved for use during WFD. I think I finally have a plan on what software to use and how to set the IC-7300 up but I can’t find a single RTTY signal on the air on any band this evening to test the software/radio. Talk about frustrating!!!
I see there is a regular RTTY test tonight at 8:45 local so I will be on the radio then to see if I can get RTTY to work.
Ok, it was just pointed out to me that the RTTY Test was last night. Now my brain hurts a little more…
I think I will make sure the microphone works on the 7300 for WFD…
Double aay five veeee hache you
The best I can tell, there is a rtty mini contest Thursday night 9/5 at 8:45pm. Then a rtty net Saturday 9/7 @ 4pm. That’s the only scheduled things I’ve found. There is a psk31 net wednesday 9/4 @ 9pm on 7.070
