Texas State POTA is this weekend. April 20th 9am-9pm & Sunday 9am-3pm. We are planning on doing a day trip on Saturday to Cooper Lake State Park Doctors Creek unit to activate. However, this event has a high probability of being cancelled due to weather. If you would like to go please let me know. You are also welcome to just show up to operate or just hang out with us. There is an entrance fee into the park, if you do not have a yearly pass. I will cancel on Friday night if the weather looks like it is going to be here.
It still looks like it may be raining on Saturday. Sunday is looking a little bit better, so I may go Sunday afternoon. This plan is ever changing because of the weather forecast. The current plan is, if cancelled on Saturday, to go on Sunday from about 1pm until 3. If anyone is interested please let me know, call-text-email-radio, and I’ll keep you updated.
