Red River Valley Amateur Radio Club
Amateur Radio in and around the Red River Valley Area of Northeast Texas
All,
Once again, I stumbled across a Wall Street Journal news piece that tickled Kathy and I. Seriously, I had no idea whether it was safe to keep it out of the refrigerator or not, but the Beall’s can’t stand trying to spread cold butter on toast or pancakes. LOL
This is one of the articles that WSJ provides a “gift” link to their subscribers – The Battle Over Refrigerating Butter: ‘Enough Is Enough’ – and particularly for those that do not subscribe, we hope you enjoy reading it. Added: I tested it after making this post and you will just need to click the X and close the advertisement when it first loads.
Whether you think it should be refrigerated or not, don’t have an opinion, were also unsure if it was safe; we hope you too will appreciate the humor the author used in writing on the topic.
Enjoy,
Phillip
And that puts me in mind of an old Limerick.
“A woman’s hair, so soft and pretty,
these words of praise, I utter …
But oh, how sick, it makes me feel,
to find them in the butter.”
😛
LOL now for an article about refrigerating fresh eggs. I never do eggs from my chickens, that can last for several months on the counter…
