I read this Wall Street Journal piece and was in stunned disbelief. LOL Please click the free link to The Christmas Movie That Became a Classic Because of a Mistake – What mistake? It’s a Wonderful Life did so poorly at the box office that they didn’t bother to renew the copyright when it expired. Because they didn’t have to pay royalties TV stations ran it a lot leading up to Christmas and it suddenly became a “must watch” seasonal movie. LOL Crazy, huh? Nobody got a dime for all the reruns all these years. LOL
