    All,

We are right in the middle of deer season and while I had the article open in a tab in Firefox since it came out last month, I only just now got around to reading it.

I am personally confident in my masculinity and wear pink shirts, ties, etc.  LOL  But some guys maybe aren’t.  Beats me.  But when I just read the Wall Street Journal article – Why Won’t Men Wear Hot Pink While Hunting? – I just had to pass it along.  Click the hyperlink and it will take you to a free “gift” copy of the article that comes with Kathy and my subscription.

Learn something new.  Get a quick read.  Get a bit of a laugh.  Maybe get a Christmas gift idea for the hunter in your life…but first check Texas hunting regulations because I don’t know if pink passes muster or not.  LOL

    Be safe,

    Phillip Beall (W5EBC)

Twenty or less years ago in a high end photography course
There was an instructor that was well known, he still is.
He told those in his Seminar that Hot Pink was the new Black for Men,

More than a few of his students were skeptical and yet we all saw
many of our Male customers embracing Hot Pink Dress shirts.

More than a few of my prominent Male clients showed up for portrait sessions wearing a Hot Pink Dress shirt
accompanied by a very expensive black tie.

    Gary Box was the Instructor.
He is a great guy and very knowledgeable instructor.

At one point in time I did have a very nice Ralph Loren Hot Pink Dress shirt.

I have however, yet come to find any of my shooting buddies
that will shoot their wife or Girl friends gun at the range with their buddies,
and I refrain from doing so as well, unless the wife is with me and she wants help with her fire arm.

We don’t see many men wearing those Pink shirts today as we did back then.

Yes it was an interesting Article.

    Cheers!

Nope.   The links still aren’t working for me.   The page content fades out after the first two lines of text.

That being said, I don’t much care if it’s blaze orange, hot pink or hollywood toxic-waste green.   If it means not getting shot at by armed ID-10-Ts deep  in the throes of wild-eyed buck fever, I’ll happily wear whatever it takes and endure the inevitable ribbing.

Steve, funny, I have a pink Polo shirt and I like it.  LOL  Dan, I don’t know what security setting kills it for you, but I have tried loading those free links in several browsers without problems.  You probably have the security tightened down too tight to get the articles to load.  LOL  If anyone else has any problem loading one, please drop me a line so that I can check it out.  Other than Dan.  I don’t think I can help him with this.  LOL  – Phillip
