A thunder head drifted in tonight from the East. It dissipated before it got here but brought a very welcome cool(er) outflow.
It also brought a welcome canvas upon which God painted the highlight of the evening.

A Quick Observation On Texas Winters.

Typically Christmas is a chilly affair
with icicles, snow and frost in the airIn Texas, you see, it’s not quite the same
The weather at Christmas is usually lame.No snow boots few scarves, no iceballs on mittens
If you wander outside you’ll get skeeter bitten.But Come February or March, it’s a whole different bit.
The bottom falls out, and the days turn to … Shaving Cream.
