Do you ever get tired of looking online for the installation or operating manual for a radio or other piece of gear? Many times, it is difficult to locate the manual for a specific make and model of radio, an optional component, etc. This page is dedicated to providing that material or links to that material. If you want to suggest that something be added, please reach out to the site admins at admin@wb5rdd.org. Because companies frequently change links we will host as many as we practically can. Where there are dozens of models or options, or if the manual exceeds our hosting capability, we will link to the manufacturer site with as close a solution as we can provide. If you discover a link is no longer correct, please let us know.  If you note that we have an outdated version, please notify us.

Kenwood (For some reason Kenwood seems to intentionally make finding a comprehensive list of their manuals exceedingly difficult.  We can only find them with a model-by-model search of their site.  As a result we have to add them here one at a time.  If you can find a page on their site with a comprehensive list of their models or want to suggest a model for operating manual inclusion, please email us at admin@wb5rdd.org.)  Kenwood does make their amateur radio software downloads easy to find.  As a courtesy we are including the link to that page here.  Manuals are available here:

TH-D74A – The TH-D74A has been discontinued by Kenwood.  TH-D74A – there is the link to their page for that specific product.  The page includes support and accessories tabs.

TH-D74A/TH-D74e USER GUIDE

This is the link to their page where you can plug in the model number and retrieve a manual.

Yaesu (Yaesu takes a middle ground position on finding their manuals.  We cannot find a comprehensive page listing their manuals, but we can find them by model.  We can, for example, provide a link to the entire list of manuals for their FTM-300 and FTM-400 products.  If you can locate a page that lists links for the manuals for all of their models please forward that link to admin@wb5rdd.org.):

In reply to that request Jerry Keisler (WA5KZA) provided this link to a private website listing of Yaesu manuals.  It looks pretty comprehensive: https://www.yaesu.org.uk/downloads
